Born in 1946, Walbrzych, Poland. 1965–1969, Camera Department of the Film School in Lodz, MA. 1996 – to present, established a production company, producing, directing and photographing documentary films for TV in digital video. 1990–1996, worked as a news cameraman for the American Broadcasting Company in Warsaw, Poland as well as in Moscow, Russia. Among others, I covered the beginning of the war in Chechnya (1994 – 1995). 1970–1989, worked as a staff cameraman in Short and Documentary Film Studios in Warsaw, where I photographed approximately 100 documentaries. In addition, I was a camera operator on four feature films for TV release and Director of Photography on six films for TV and one for cinema release. Also worked with Jarmo Jaaskelainen from Finnish TV as a cameraman on at least six major documentary projects.
