Ariya Toprak who was born in 1991 in Diyarbakır, completed her primary, secondary and
high school education there. She then studied at Boğaziçi University in Translation and
Interpreting Studies. During her undergrad education, she was an active member of
Boğaziçi University Theatre Club and Boğaziçi University Women’s Studies Club. She is
now working in Mekan Artı theater company both as an actress and as a coordinator in the mean time she is working in the producing new short film projects.
