Sareen Hairabedian is a documentary filmmaker based between Jordan and Washington D.C.. She is the founder of HAI Creative, a production company that collaborates with artists and organizations to create human-driven documentaries that bring worldwide stories of the unheard and underrepresented to screen. Sareen’s directorial debut WE ARE NOT DONE YET is an award winning HBO documentary that highlights U.S. veterans grappling with PTSD who use poetry to process their traumatic pasts. The film won Best Documentary at the G.I. Film Festival, it received a nomination for Best Documentary Short at the 2018 International Documentary Association awards and was nominated for the NAMIC Vision Awards.
