Jonas Weydemann was born in Hamburg, Germany. He studies film production at the German Film and Television Academy (dffb) in Berlin and is alumni of: EAVE Producer’s Workshop, ep2c, Cannes Producers Network, Berlinale Talent Campus, Rotterdam Lab, IDFAcademy.
Jonas is winner of the Robert Bosch Co-Production Prize and programming director at the short film festival Wendland Shorts.
He is EAVE's national coordinator for Germany and member of the European Film Academy.
