Mehmet Safak Turkel has shot approximately 20 dance films, short films, experimental and documentary films. He has participated in numerous national and international film festivals. His last documentary film “Passion: Meriç Sümen” was awarded “2013 TRT Documentary Awards”, Professional Category Second Price. He is currently producing the documentary film “Songs for the Lake”.
