Katharina von Schroeder was born in Wuppertal, graduation from high school in 1998. She studied Physics for 3 years and did several internships in various areas of filmmaking. From 2006 – May 2011 she studied at the Film and Television University “Konrad Wolf” in Potsdam-Babelsberg (HFF) Since 2004 she works as a freelance editor and director for BBC, ARTE and AlJazeera.
