Graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London with a degree in Filmmaking and Anthropology, MA at Warsaw University and postgrad at UCLA. Most of her adult life she spent abroad. Her work as a director took her to Uganda, Nigeria, Mexico, India, Vietnam, Spain, South Africa, USA. She is also a published author and her background in cultural anthropology makes other cultures a natural habitat for her films where human oriented stories inspire on the universal level.
