Heilika Pikkov is a documentary filmmaker and manager of cultural programmes. Together with Ülo Pikkov she runs a production company Silmviburlane in Tallinn, Estonia which focuses on documentary, animation and animated documentaries. Her first feature documentary Flowers from the Mount of Olives (2013) premiered at the Locarno FF and had a great success in Estonian cinemas. Her short documentary My Flesh and Blood (2018) won the Best Short Film of the Year at the Estonian Film and Television Awards. Heilika is one of the initiators and organisers of the Estonian-Finnish creative documentary workshop Ice and Fire Docs.
