Andreea Udrea, a documentary filmmaker from Romania, has a BA in Psychology from the University of Bucharest and an MA in Documentary Film Directing from DocNomads. She debuted in 2017, with the short documentary “Like the Mountain”. Her projects have been developed in several documentary development workshops, such as Moldox Lab, Civil Society Pitch, and Short Pitch Program among others. She is the recipient of the 2021 Civil Society Pitch development award. Her latest documentary, “The wind blows where it pleases” produced by Ana Vijdea, gained production support from the Romanian National Film Center in 2023. The project was developed during her last semester of DocNomads and documentary programmes such as Transilvania Talent Lab and Short Pitch Program.
