Marc Goyens holds a master’s in film directing from LUCA school of arts Brussels and followed a postgraduate in Film studies and visual culture at the University of Antwerp. In 2009 he joined the Brussels-based production outfit Minds Meet where he worked as (an executive) producer for numerous European arthouse films with selections for Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, and Venice. Ten years later he founded the independent production company Quetzalcoatl and produced Ghost Tropic by Belgian helmer Bas Devos, one of the highlights of Cannes’ sidebar competition Director’s Fortnight in 2019.
Currently he is co-producing the tv-series Exes together with Tim Mielants (Peaky Blinders; The Terror; Legion) and Bert Vandael as well as the feature documentaries The Last Jewish Summer by Thom Vander Beken.
