Marko Sipka has a Bachelor’s degree in Film and TV Directing, Academy of Arts Banja Luka and a Master’s Degree in Documentary Film Directing, obtained at: Luca School of Arts, Belgium; Universidade Lusofona Portugal; and Film and Theatre School of Budapest, Hungary. He attended documentary film workshops: Atelier Varan Paris; Nisi Masa in Malmo and International Summer School of Oslo.His films were screened at film festivals such as: Doclisboa, International Film Festival Istanbul, SFF, Cypress International Film Festival, Shortini Film Festival. He won the best short film award at the International Student Film Festival Duka Fest in Banja Luka. He is a member of the Association of Film Workers in BH and Vice president of Unlocked Films from Vienna.
