Jana Andert studied photography and psychology at Universties in Netherlands and between the years 2011 - 2015 worked as a photographer for a company selling medical supplies and then for two fashion designers. Her work was published in many countries (Germany, Netherlands, Belgium,...). Thereafter she started working as a journalist and photographer in Syria and that led to a work of a filmmaker in Iraq where she shot the film Inside Mosul.
