Born in Warsaw in 1986, Jakub Michnikowski trained in a ceramics studio, worked as an assistant theatrical scenery maker and took part in film festivals as a volunteer. In 2008 and 2009, he made two documentary shorts. In 2010, he took a goldsmith’s course. He is currently studying at the Film and TV Direction Department of the Leon Schiller National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź.
