Saimir Bajo, a Czech filmmaker who lives and works in Prague. He attended university in Albania, as well as in Italy and the Czech Re- public. He completed his film studies at FAMU. A screenwriter, director, producer, and author of many screenplays, his fiction project Iona was selected for the Berlinale Co-Pro-duction Market 2004; the fiction project Once Upon a Time in the Balkans was selected for the Sarajevo Film Festival - Annual Film Co-production Market – Cine Link projects 2004. He spent most of the 90s working in international film industry. Bajo has taught directing, screenwriting, film analysis and film history at the Tirana State Film Academy in Albania. He currently works as a professor Secondary Technical School of Telecommunications and teaches at Prague Film School.
