Minna Hint

director, director of photography, editor, script writer, producer

Director Minna Hint was born (1981) in Tallinn, Estonia, into a family of poets and writers. She got graduated in Fine Arts in 2003. Her rebellious and critical spirit is very noticeble if you pay attention to the big amount of shows and performances that she produced in university years (Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Finland, etc.). In Hull, a weird town settled in the foggy coast of England, she decided to work as a cleaner for a year. After this experience she finished a masters in Interdisciplinary Arts in Estonian Art Academy. Thanks to those experiences and the inevitable reflections besides reading Baudrillard, among other contemporary philosophers, was shot "III Images of Life and Time". This documentary is a touchy reflexive protest, it is a mature piece that brougth her a Cum Laude in her MA work and was shown in Linnagalerii, one of the main art galleries in Tallinn. Since 2017, she 's a curator of artist-run- space Kraam. She's also one of the organizers of Ladyfest Tallinn.
