Dirk Uhlig was born in Meerane in 1967. After completing his secondary education,he studied medicine from 1987 to 1993. Since 1993, he is a free visual artist focusingon painting. His works have been shown in single and group exhibitions in Berlin,Dresden, Weimar and Marseille. In addition to his paintings, he started to create anumerous of free video installtions since 2000.
