Rasa was educated first as a civil engineer, switching to film studies in 1998. Studied film production management at Lithuanian Music Academy, at Theatre and Cinema department, and at The European Film College, Denmark. After College she done Master degree in Audiovisual Arts in Lithuanian Music Academy.
From 2001 till 2006 Rasa was working at Lithuanian Radio and Television Public broadcaster (LRT), as Head of Film production department, producing documentaries and working with independent directors, producers. She was attending project development courses as “Twelve 4 the Future”, “Discovery Campus”, “Eurodoc”.
From 2006 Rasa has been working as independent producer within her own company UAB “ERA FILM” (www.erafilm.lt) where she produces creative documentaries, fiction, animation.
