Svitlana Smirnova was born in Kazakhstan on November 8 1985. When she is 5, she moves to Sumy, a small town in east Ukraine. She discovers Theatre at 9. She studies Theatre and Cinema in Kiev University and soon starts to work as an actress. She also works as a volunteer at Kiev Military Hospital. It will become the set of her first Documentary “We are Soldiers”.
