Thanassis Karathanos was born in Berlin in 1967. He received a Master's Degree at the PanteionUniversity of Athens in political and social sciences.In December 1998, he established the film production company TWENTY TWENTY VISION inBerlin, Germany. In June 2003, he formed the company PALLAS FILM in Halle, Germany. ThanassisKarathanos is member of the European Film Academy and the German Film Academy.
