Piret Tibbo-Hudgins has graduated from All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow in 1985, majoring producing. During following four years she produced three feature films at the state studio Tallinnfilm. After Estonia’s independence she became a music critic in Finland and composer for Estonian theater VAT. In 1995 Piret co-founded production company Allfilm and was it’s Managing Director until 2002. Afterward she has been focusing on production again and has produced tens of documentaries, short films and features. Her films have received both domestic and international recognition and been awarded in film festivals. All of her later projects have been international co-productions. Piret is lecturing scriptwriting and audiovisual management at the Baltic Film and Media School. She is a board member of the Association of Estonian Film producers.
