Zdeněk Chaloupka is a documentary director and cinematographer. He has long collaborated with non-profit and humanitarian organizations and has worked on several documentaries from Ukraine. He is currently working as co-director and cinematographer on the project Generation Nika, which, through a series of film workshops, explores the challenges faced by children and teenagers growing up in wartime.
He frequently collaborates with his wife, filmmaker Květa Chaloupková. Together they created the award-winning podcast series Karina, the Eagle Has Died, focusing on the poisoning of wild birds. They are currently preparing a feature documentary about housing problems.
