Matej Sotník is a producer at guča films and creative director of Film Expanded distribution. He is the producer of "Notes from Eremocene" directed by Viera Čákanyová with world premiere at Berlinale 2023 and dozens of screenings, nominations or awards from international film festivals across the globe. He is currently producing or co-producing a number of projects (creative documentaries, feature films and TV/online series) in various stages, such as the newest film of internationally acclaimed director Lucia Kašová "World of Walls" set in South Africa. He is partnering with companies or broadcasters from Czechia, Germany or Austria. He is member of Emerging Producers 2024 workshop and co-founder of the Slovak Documentary Film Association.
