Francesco Ragazzi after completing his studies at the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (France) and Northwestern University, Chicago (USA), he co-directed his first documentary, “Banliyo-Banlieue” with Constance Rivière, Federico Ferrone (2004)), followed by “Merica” with Federico Ferrone, Michele Manzolini. In 2009 he co-founded Vezfilm, focusing on the role of producer. He produced the cross-platform Liberty & Security (2009) with King's College, London. In 2012, he completed the co-production with Wajda Studio (Poland) of “My House Without Me” (dir. Magdalena Szymkow). He recently completed producing “On Vient Pour La Visite” (dir. Lucie Tourette) and “The Train to Moscow” (dir. Federico Ferrone, Michele Manzolini, supported by MEDIA, co-produced with Kiné), which premiered in the main competition of Torino Film Festival (2013). Since 2010 he also teaches at the University of Leiden (Netherlands).
