David joined Bankwatch in 2006 and since 2009 has led its media work, including new media and video advocacy. Prior to joining Bankwatch, David worked on international financial institution policies at the Bank Information Center in Washington D.C., focusing on access to information and social and environmental standards at the multilateral lending institutions, and as a research fellow at the American Folklife Center, researching intellectual property and indigenous peoples' rights. David holds a degree in anthropology and economics from the University of Vermont and studied environmental policy and social movements with the International Honors Program of Boston University.
