Luka Popadić was born in Baden in 1980 where he grew up. He studied history and political science in Zurich. He completed five years of study of film directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade with a M.A. in 2014.He has been living in Switzerland again since 2015 and is currently working on his first feature-length cinema documentary which portrays the militia system of the Swiss Army. The film shooting is intended to begin in spring 2016.
