Jan Bodnár is a Czech producer and journalist. His main focus is the production of documentary films with human rights and environmental themes, female-directed films, and first features. He is a producer at Media Voice along with director, Vera Lacková, whom he has worked closely with for several years. How I Became a Partisan (2021), an award winning feature documentary film, is the most recent brainchild of their very successful collaboration. Now they are working on Do Magic, a feature timelapse documentary about Romani witchcraft and magic. He produced many media campaigns such as the viral campaign #JakoTy for a META company (directed by Martin Páv). In the GNOMON production company, he finished as a coproducer of the time-lapse movie of Tereza Tara, Healing Me (2021). He finished as a producer feature documentary movie The World According to My Dad (2023).
