Born 1983 in Bucharest, Romania and raised in Austria, Ilinca graduated as an actress from the German Theatre Academy Vorpommern in 2007. Then, she moved to Berlin where she played at the GRIPS theatre and started to study at the German Film and Television Academy dffb. In 2011, her full length screenplay "Wolken Wollen" was awarded the Best Screenplay Award at the student film festival "sehsuechte". Also in 2011, Ilinca directed her first fictional short film "Sommerschlussverkauf" (Summer sale), her second work as a director followed in 2012 with the short movie „Freistunde“ (Free lesson). Currently Ilinca is working on her first novel. A feature film she developed with the german director Tom Lass, supported by the german television broadcast station ZDF is currently in post production.
