Was born in Czech Republic 1977. His first real contact with photography was at art school in Ostrava. In 2011 received a Master degree at the Institute of Creative Photography of the Silesian University in Opava. He focuses on social documentary, reportage photography and documentary film. He took many photo stories in countries like: New Zealand, USA, Mongolia, Vietnam, Japan, Russia, India, Pakistan etc. In 2008 he started to work as a newspaper photographer in ISIFA photoagency in Prague, a partner of Getty Images - the world's leading creator and distributor of still imagery, footage and multimedia products. In 2009 he moved to work for Hospodarske noviny daily newspaper. As a documentary photographer he deals with important topics of the present day. With collection Absurdistan-My home he won 1st prize at FRAME 2010 contest. This is an annual international photographic competition for professional photographers and photography students from Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. He won 1st prize at Czech press photo 2010 in category Daily live. He participated in the selection of 60 finalists from around the world at the international festival in Hanover LUMIX photofestival for young photojournalist. He is now living in Prague, Czech republic.
