Alessandro Cattaneo, an Italian cinematographer, traveler, and maker of visually refined films, previously filmed commercials for prestigious clothing brands. In 2015, he completed his first feature-length film – Wide Blue Delivery – about the crew of a cargo ship traveling between Italy and Africa. In his next documentary, Nuovo Alfabeto Umano (2016), he tracked the life of immigrants in a Milanese refugee camp.
