Ilija Cvetkovski is a passionate filmmaker from a small town in Macedonia. He studied architecture in Montpellier, France before he decided that his dream was to make films, so in 2011 he continued his education on ESRA in Skopje. A year later, he makes his first short film, Dushan, which was shown to numerous student festivals. Inspired by the power and influence of personal and small films, in 2012, he starts to shoot his first documentary Dionis’ Museum. After a year of shooting, he is forced to quit the school to take a job in the Dominican Republic as a photographer, in order to repay student and film loans. 6 months later, he returns back in Macedonia to finish the film. He speaks English, French, Spanish and Russian.
