Mersolis Schöne is a researcher and artist based in Vienna (Austria). He is interested in film-based philosophical and scientific inquiry, for example in knowledge creation, the communication of science, the relations between physicality, motion and thinking processes, the process of reading, as well as the contemporary reception of Friedrich Nietzsche. He has pursued these topics in several short film documentaries, including “Thinking with the Hands” (2015), “Reading through the Body” (2016), in the experimental poetic short film "Deternity" (2018), and also in the short philosophical film-essay “Science and Love” (2014). “THINKING NIETZSCHE” (2018) is his first feature length film.
