She was born in Gdańsk. She graduated from Literature Faculty of St. Andrews University. She also has a diploma in anthropology. After graduation, she lives in the USA and Mexico. In 2004–2005, she studied at the Art and Movie Faculty of the Paris Sorbonne. She has been cooperating with ARTE TV, AVRO, BBC4 and TVP since 2006. The Themerson & Themerson film is her debut.
