My Family and Other Clowns
Haide and Toomas are a married couple, with three children living in a tiny one-bedroom apartment in the suburb of Tallinn. They could be a perfectly ordinary family, but there’s a catch – the parents in this family are famous clowns and one of the kids is autistic.
For 25 years Haide and Toomas have been building up their successful career in Estonia and abroad as clowns Piip and Tuut entertaining thousands of children and families, while their own children have been growing up on their own. They have been juggling family and stage lives, but now they have come to a breaking point, where they must decide whether they can keep their theatre or give up their dream and save the family. Can they have it all?
