Synopse
Emina Suljovic is a Bosnian hematologist. She grew up in and her life remains in Sarajevo. Starting with the first thought that came to her mind when I asked her about the word absence. From this word, she begins to create a mental map that reveals herself and the relationship to the city. As someone who works with terminal patients, assomeone who lived through war and as a Muslim in a contemporary world. Ultimately, it is a internal dialogue performed through thoughts and memories, just as we rerun a past event through our mines. The film ends with an open question to the audience: what does absence mean for you?
