Dear Utopia

Zara Pfeifer‘s cinematic essay combines analogue photos and iPhone audio recordings to an atmospheric look at the modernist residential project Alt-Erlaa built in Vienna in the 1970s, and its numerous hobby clubs. It is a little world in and of itself — a utopia still being enjoyed until today, of concrete and neon lights, sociality and recreational fun.
