A neuropsychiatrist Senadin Ljubovic, of Bosnian Muslim origin, hired before the war Dr. Radovan Karadzic to psychiatry clinic in Sarajevo. Now, 20 years after the war Ljubovic goes to jail for war criminals in The Hague to meet with his former friend Karadzic. This journey through today's Bosnia and Serbia is the main thread of the film. Reflections of the protagonist’s relationship with Karadzic, become universal questions about human nature. What occurs in the human psyche, that changea personality and allow for cruelty. In Scheveningen - a detention unit at the court in The Hague, the biggest criminals are trialed for crimes against humanity and the former enemies, Muslims, Croats, Serbs, developed surprising relationships. They prepare meals together and celebrate religious holidays. Cultural differences, which seemed to be the most important cause of war, here are a natural platform for agreement.
