Dance With Me

High school dancing group goes to Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival. It is a reference point of their five year work - they have to be the best at the largest Latvian cultural event. Away from home and parents, they spend seven days and nights together. They are already 18 and have just graduated, bet they don't know what will the future bring. This seems to be the last idle summer of their lives. Dreams mix with boredom, silly jokes with serious conversations – someone's wedding dress, somebody is about to become a father. Taking care of one another creates affection and grows into collective power. There are thousands like them at the Festival. Every individual sensation turns into common celebration and joint emotional experience. Celebration becomes more than just a tradition.
