Synopse
Specific cultural climate at the beginning of the 20th century has made Prague one of the significant fine arts centers of the era. Our film is not only about the influence of the Prague Academy of Fine Arts, but about the social, cultural and historic events that played a key role in forming the identity of Serbian painters during their stay in Prague. Beside well-known and acknowledged artists, this film features also somewhat forgotten, but undoubtedly outstanding Serbian painters of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. The film features interviews with prominent art historians from the Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia, as well as archive footage, and footage of paintings, photos and original documents.
