London/Sofia-based filmmaker, animator and educator Veselina Dashinova was born in Bulgaria 1984. After studying at the High School for Fine Art, Ilia Petrov Sofia she went on to complete a 1st class BA degree in Animation at the UCA Farnham, and an Animation MA at the Royal College of Art, London. Veselina’s work continues to receive appreciation internationally and has been screened at numerous film festivals: IWF Festival Seoul, Melbourne International Animation Festival, Interfilm Berlin. Her film What They Could Take With Them, They Took (2009) won the best student film award at the KinoFilm Manchester (2010). In 2011 Veselina co-founded Film Fabrik that has produced a wide range of documentary and animation projects. Veselina regularly teaches at the UCA Farnahm.
