Born in 1989, he finished Academy of Arts in 2017, with the “Horizons” as his bachelor degree feature fiction- premiered at 39th Cairo IFF. His newest short film BODY PARTS premiered at POFF 2021, later winning awards for the best film and best cinematography. He’s writing and developing his first feature THE GROUND IS BURNING, at Nipkow Program in Berlin. I’M PEOPLE, I AM NOBODY- feature doc, opened at DOC NYC 2022. In all of his films, Svetislav is trying to depict tragic portraits, characters’ inner struggles, inside the society they inhabit and confront. He is a member of the DA- Europe and Berlinale Talents alumni. Co-founder of boutique production company Gray Tree Film, based in Belgrade, Serbia.
