Elena graduated from Russia's Maria Razbezhkina Documentary Filmmaking School in 2011. She was one of the authors of the acclaimed Russian documentary omnibus "Winter Go Away", shot on the eve and during the fraud elections in Russia in 2011 and 2012 and premiered in Locarno. A participant of the projects "The Term" by Pivovarov/Kostomarov/Rastorguev and REALITY (where the characters film their own lives themselves) by Kostomarov/Rastorguev.
