Fanni Somlyai studied Film and Theatre Studies at the University of Pécs, and graduated from the Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest with a MA degree in Film Studies. She works with Verzió International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Budapest since 2018. She is a submission coordinator, organizes education programs, and edits the print editions of the festival. Before joining Verzió, she worked for other NGOs in Hungary and Slovenia.
