Director, screenwriter and film editor. He was born in 1983 in Kokotów. He earned a degree in Film Directing from the Faculty of Radio and Television of the University of Silesia in Katowice and completed the documentary course at the Wajda School, where he made his award-winning documentary debut "The Dog Hill" (2010). He is an author of the feature study "Our Bad Winter" (2012) and the documentary "The Whistle" (2012), which has won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. His full-screen debut "Waves" was released in 2016. He is a laureate of the Talent Trójka award (the award of the 3rd Programme of the Polish Radio) and a winner of the Creative Scholarship granted by the City of Krakow. In 2014, he received the Creative Scholarship of the Minister of Culture.
