MING-WEI CHIANG is a Poland-based Taiwanese director and screenwriter born in Taipei in 1986. After studying Fine-art and Design he turned to fiction and documentary filmmaking, directing several self-produced short films and participating in the fine-art department in the feature-length film, “Stray Dogs“, directed by Tsai Ming-Liang before entering the Polish National Film School in Łódź.
His short films in the Polish National Film School in Łódź have been shown at film festivals in Poland and abroad. He obtained his MA degree in Directing in 2022. POŁĄCZENIA / CALLS is his graduation production for a documentary film.
