Jesús Prieto graduated in Film and TV Direction from TAI School in Madrid. Later he took a Master in Cinematographic Staging in the International Film School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. After that, he has directed many short films, documentaries and commercials along three different continents.His debut, the feature documentary “The Whisper of the Sand” (2008), about the conflict in Western Sahara, was released in cinemas in Spain and had wide acceptance in international festivals like the 31th Sao Paulo International Film Festival, Mexico DocsDF and the International Cinematographic Festival of Uruguay. It is now available for sale on DVD.
