Jil Lange was born in Berlin in 1990. She studied film at the Academy of Fine Arts (Hfbk) in Hamburg and currently works as an editor. She deepened her interest in hybrid narrative forms during her two-semester scholarship at the Film and Television School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague. Her graduation film, SOMETIMES THE SEA (δεξαμενή), emerged from a long-term observation.
