Karin Schiefer is a film journalist. Since 1999, she has been working for Austrian Films, the Vienna-based non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of Austrian cinema abroad, where she currently heads Communications and Marketing. She is a lecturer at the Film Academy Vienna and also works as a moderator and translator.
