Born 1978, worked for several years as freelance editor and dop for documentary and
television projects. His last works as an editor includes the cinema documentary
MATERIAL by Thomas Heise (Berlinale 2009) and BARTÓK'S REQUIEM by Jan
Lorenzen (Duisburg FF 2008).
In 2010 he directed his first feature length documentary OF THE SALAMANDER'S
ESPOUSAL WITH THE GREEN SNAKE and won the ARTE-Documentary Award at
Duisburg FF . The short documentary GUIDED TOUR was shown at Berlinale 2011, Int. Short Film Festival Oberhausen and will be whown at Viennale, CPH:DOX, Festival dein Popoli Firenze.
