Zhejniva Garo is an Albanian director born in Tirana in 1979. She completed her undergraduate studies in the Academy of Fine Arts, in the branch of film directing in 2003. Throughout the years she accumulated various experiences both in public and private media outlets, TV and Radio. In 2010 she graduates from the Preiner Konservatorium Wien - Austria, in theater directing. Since 2010 she works as director in the Albanian Public Broadcaster, RTSH. Her documentary works include Pamundesia (Impossibility), nominated for best directing and best short movie in the Madrid International Film Festival (2012, Madrid). Her latest work, Someone Knocks explores the physical and emotional significance of hands in peoples' lives.
