Mariana Sabeva graduated from California State University Northridge with an MA in Screenwriting as a Fulbright scholar. She has worked as a writer for various TV, film and theater projects. In 2018, three of her theater plays were staged in major theaters in Sofia, Bulgaria, with her being the producer of the most successful one, Appetite. She has worked on two of the most successful Bulgarian TV dramas, Stolen Life and Sofia Hillbillies. Apart from the entertainment industry, Mariana Sabeva has vast experience as a copywriter and web content writer.
